Installation (Linux versions)

RPM package:
Download the latest RPM package
appropriate for your Linux distribution
and install it issuing following
command:
# rpm -i avglinux-7.1-{release
number}.i386.rpm
.tar.gz archive:
Download the latest .tar.gz archive and
follow these steps:
- unpack the archive
# tar xzvf avglinux-7.1-{release
number}.i386.tar.gz
- change to avg7-linux directory
# cd avg7-linux
- run the setup script as the super-user
(root)
# ./install.sh
