How do I configure AVG
Firewall?
Experienced users can configure
the firewall manually (to set up
actions for individual
communicating applications).
But you can also use the
Automatic Configuration Wizard.
This wizard will check your
computer and recommend default
settings.
It is automatically configured
to provide optimum protection
for your computer.
Manual Configuration and
the
Automatic Configuration Wizard
are both available in the
context menu by right-clicking
on the
AVG
Firewall component
located in the
AVG Control Center.
Please
choose how your computer is
connected to the Internet.
Standalone computer - for
single PCs.
Computer in domain - for
Networks.
Computer on the move -
for laptops or mobile devices.
Choose to scan for applications
which access the Internet.
(We recommend a Complete Scan).
Click NEXT to continue.
Choose which services to allow
access to the Internet.
(We recommend leaving the
default options selected unless
you are an advanced computer
user.) Click NEXT
to continue.
Choose which applications to
allow access to the Internet.
(We
recommend leaving the default
options selected unless you are
an advanced computer user.)
Click
NEXT to continue.
Please choose the default
profile to use for the computer
you are using.
Click FINISH to continue.
