My License Number does not work (is invalid / expired).
What should I do?
Please first check:
Whether you have downloaded
and installed the correct edition of AVG software
that you purchased.
If you have the correct
date/year settings on your
computer - right-click on the clock on the task
bar (in the right bottom corner of the screen)
and choose the "Adjust Date/Time" option.
It is possible that the license number
was not entered correctly. Please ensure that it is exactly
correct. We recommend you to use the Copy & Paste
method to insert your AVG license number correctly, as this will
avoid mistakes:
HOW TO COPY AND PASTE
Highlight the license number
(this will change the color).
Press and hold CTRL and
then press the "C" key (this is the copy function).
Place your cursor where you
would like to paste the copied information.
Press and hold CTRL and
then press the "V" key (this is the paste function).
The information will be copied
from the previous place to the place you have moved your
cursor to.
