I have some files in the AVG Virus Vault. What next?

When you move an infected file to the AVG Virus Vault, your computer is safe. The files are saved in encrypted form in AVG Virus Vault so they cannot infect your computer nor spread. You can keep the files in the AVG Virus Vault. We usually recommend that you keep these files in AVG Virus Vault some time (e.g. one week). If there is no problem in connection with this file (e.g. problem with some application on your computer), you can delete them.

You can delete them this way:

  • please run the AVG Virus Vault

  • mark file/s in the AVG Virus Vault

  • click on Action -> choose Delete file (s) option

(if you like to remove all objects from the AVG Virus Vault at once,  please use the option Action -> Empty Vault)
