1) Please download the latest installation file from this webpage:
http://www.grisoft.com/doc/Programs
- Select your AVG Edition - AVG Internet Security Home Edition FULL VERSION
- Click on the link "AVG 7.5 for Windows" to download the installation file
- When you are prompted, please do not open this file directly from the Internet, but click "Save" button and choose location, where installation file should be stored. We recommend saving the file to the Desktop.
2) Uninstall current version of AVG (if present):
- Locate the downloaded AVG installation file (it has a four color square icon and its name starts with AVG75...) and launch the installation by double-clicking on it.
- choose "Uninstall AVG" option
- choose "Remove user settings" when you are asked for
- finish the uninstallation process
- reboot PC
3) Turns off windows defender

4) Turn off UAC
You can disable/enable "User Account Control"(UAC) in Microsoft Vista operating system this way:
Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> User Accounts -> uncheck the option "Turn User Account Control on or off"-> Restart the computer
5) Install AVG by these steps:
- launch the downloaded package again
- Follow the installation wizard to install the program
- Enter your license number when you are asked (using the copy and paste method)
- update the AVG program
