Contacting Technical Support - Users who
have already purchased AVG
-
Technical support is available to all
registered AVG Anti-Virus customers.
-
Technical
Support is available in the form of e-mail 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
-
To obtain technical support,
you will
need the Licence Number of your AVG
product. This can be found in the
Licence window of the AVG Control
Centre. Simply "copy and paste" your
Licence Number into the body of your
e-mail support request, and your request
will be handled promptly.
If you are not able to find the answer to your question,
contact AVG Technical Support with technical issues using
one of the methods below:
We highly recommend using this method for contacting Technical
Support. It will save you time and it will give our Technical
Support staff information they need to help you quickly and
effectively.
An email
can be easily sent from your AVG program:
- Run
AVG Control Center or AVG Test Center.
- From
the top menu select Information -> Technical Support by
E-mail (or use Ctrl+B shortcut).
- Write
your message/describe your problem into the newly opened
Mail for Technical Support dialog.
- Click
OK to confirm.
- Your
default e-mail client opens, and the AVG program message
will be enclosed into the body of the e-mail together with
important program and system information.

The advantage of using this method is
that in addition to your question, your Licence Number will automatically be
included in your e-mail. Information useful to our technical staff about your
specific AVG program (such as the date and release number of your most recent
update), will also be included in your e-mail, which
allows for more informed support services. Of course, this method
can be used only when a connection to the Internet is available.

Information
about your
version of AVG
can be found by

you will find

this information
