Trial requests serial number
What do I do if the trial is requesting a serial number?
AVG Anti-virus Professional, AVG Anti-Spyware, AVG Anti-Malware, and AVG Internet Security
If your trial download was successful, but it is prompting you to enter a serial number, please uninstall the trial and reinstall. This should allow you to access the trial.
If you continue to see a request for a serial number, it usually indicates that the trial has expired. To purchase a serial number to activate your trial to a full version, please order via the Products page and click on the appropriate 'Buy' button or alternatively, kindly telephone our office.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to restart the trial version once it expires at the end of the trial period. When the trial period runs out you will not be able to install another copy of this trial onto the same computer to try the software again. You can, however, install the trial software onto another machine that has not previously had the trial installed on it.
Network or Server Editions
You will receive an email when you register through the Download Centre. AVG users trialing any of the Network or Server editions - please use the reply function of your e-mail program to keep the same subject and just let us know the name of the Edition that you wish to trial eg. AVG Internet Security Network Edition, etc. We can then email you the correct license key so that you can complete the installation process.
