Now that I have paid for the software, how do I download it?
I have already installed the Trial version on my computer.
If you have installed the Trial version on your computer, it is not necessary to re-install AVG.
After purchasing your new AVG License Number, simply click on the "Activate" button in the pop-up window and enter your new License Number when prompted.
The license number is CASE SENSITIVE with capital letters. Please, do not confuse 1(one) with I(India), 0(zero) with O(Oscar) etc.
The license number is in the e-mail you received immediately after purchasing AVG. Please 'copy' it from this email and 'paste' to enter the license number into the license box instead of retyping it to avoid typing errors.
In case you are not sure how to "copy and paste", we have included the instructions on how to "Copy and Paste" with the License Activation Instructions at http://www.avg-antivirus.com.au/read_this.pdf. This has clear and simple instructions with accompanying screen shots on how to activate AVG Anti-Virus with your newly received license number.
I have NOT yet downloaded the AVG software
Please visit the Download page. Simply select the appropriate download file for your version of AVG software.
You will be prompted to enter your AVG License Number during the installation process - use the license number that you received via email. It is necessary to enter it correctly. Please, use the "copy and paste" method (see below) instead of typing the License Number to avoid any possible mistakes.
To use the "copy & paste" method, please follow these steps:

highlight the license number (this will change the colour)

press and hold CTRL and then press the C key (this is the copy function)

place your cursor where you would like to paste the copied information

press and hold CTRL and then press the V key (this is the paste function)

the information will be copied from the previous place to the place you have moved your cursor to.
